Held under the theme “Flow of Heritage”, the first O Ly Artshow officially opened on the evening of June 6 at Hue Book and Cultural Space (23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward), on the banks of the Perfume River, attracting the participation of a large number of artists and art enthusiasts.

Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, featuring a series of cultural, artistic, and community activities to honor the values of Vietnam’s traditional Ao-dai and reaffirm the brand of “Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai”, will take place from July 3 to 10.

Alongside the Hue heritage complex, the French architectural works that remain today are seen as part of the soul of Hue’s urban landscape. Through the lens of sketching, these structures appear to take on a new look and a different kind of “life” in the eyes of artists and architects.

Under the theme “Flow of Heritage”, the first-ever O Ly Art show will officially open at Hue Book and Cultural Space (23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward) on June 6, ushering in a new artistic platform for the artist community in Central Vietnam.

On the morning of May 29, the Department of Tourism announced that Hue Lotus Festival 2026 will take place from June 19 to 21 under the theme “Ngu lien thuc thuy” (Royal Lotus Awakens the Water). Featuring a wide range of cultural, artistic, and culinary activities as part of Hue Festival 2026, the event is expected to become a vibrant summer attraction for both residents and visitors.

Though in his seventies, Excellent Artist Tran Thao (Phu Xuan, Hue) has never spent a single day without nha nhac (court music). He teaches it in classrooms, passing on his craft in his small house and maintaining a nha nhac club for over three decades now. Every year, he travels to An Giang, carrying with him the “music of the past” to share with others.

As part of Hue Festival 2026, Hue International Music Week 2026 will take place from June 13 to 18 on the riverside stage along the Huong River, in front of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. The event is expected to become a major highlight of the Summer Festival, bringing together artists, dance troupes, and art troupes from Vietnam and many countries around the world.

On the afternoon of March 7, the art photography exhibition themed “Perspectives on heritage” offered the public an emotionally rich artistic space, featuring 90 works by photographers from Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. The event is part of a literature and arts exchange program closely following the traditional relationship of “Hanoi - Hue - Saigon”, which has been maintained since 2023.

Following a vibrant April filled with diverse artistic activities, the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2026 continues with a series of attractive cultural and tourism events throughout May and June, promising new experiences for both residents and visitors.

On April 25, Phong Dinh Ward organized the “Old Scent of the Ancient Village” Festival, featuring a variety of unique cultural and artistic activities that attracted a large number of locals and visitors to visit and experience.

As a unique handmade product that combines both the art of mixing and shaping, the artistic powder flowers require both the meticulousness and ingenuity of the hands.

Among more than 100 fine artworks with the theme "Fine Art Works - Collection of Hue Fine Arts Museum" being organized by Hue Fine Arts Museum at 15 Le LoiSt., Hue City, more than half are typical works of famous artists from the ancient capital or once associated with this land.

From his passionate love for literature and art, Bao Cuong created an art space and set up a library to contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the locals.
