Thousands of visitors and residents of Hue came together to bid farewell to 2025 and welcome the New Year 2026 in exquisite weather, heaven and earth in harmony, clear skies with a slight winter chill. The Countdown program welcoming 2026, held at Hue City Cultural and Sports Square (Vy Da Ward), was regarded as the highlight of this meaningful moment, a venue where a grand musical feast and joyful reunions converged.

On the afternoon of December 30, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Hue City organized a program to honor outstanding artists and writers, and presented awards to exceptional literary and artistic works in 2025.

Held for the first time in Hue City, the International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 (taking place from December 10th to 12th) not only contributes to honoring Vietnamese tea culture but also is expected to serve as an important starting point, laying the foundation for the formation of a profound cultural, artistic, and tourism-oriented annual event, helping enrich Hue’s identity and enhance its attractiveness.

After three days of activities, the International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 officially concluded on the evening of December 12th with a closing ceremony and the artistic performance titled “Moon Dance of Tea Blossoms”.

On the afternoon of December 10, Hue City Fine Arts Association, in collaboration with the University of Arts, Hue University, organized the opening ceremony of the Fine Arts Exhibition celebrating the 74th anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Traditional Day (December 10, 1951 - December 10, 2025). The event attracted the participation of many artists and students.

Dozens of paintings, considered rare treasures by generations of Hue’s renowned artists, have just been unveiled to the public. These works are now displayed at Lebadang Art Space of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts (No.15 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). The 75 pieces showcased in this exhibition belong to an art collection that the Museum has patiently and devotedly gathered over many years.

From familiar cover versions to the aspiration of writing their own songs, young artists in Hue are gradually making their mark with music that carries a modern vibe while preserving their distinctive style.

Under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Hue City People’s Committee, and Hue City Department of Tourism, the organizing unit - BamBoo Artists Agency - has introduced the large-scale Hue Mega Concert event series.

Nguyen Luong Ngoc Khanh (stage name Mr. Boomba) is one of the distinctive names in Hue's music scene today. He is both a monochord artist associated with Hue Chamber Music Club, and a music producer in the hiphop and underground music community in Vietnam.

The art works by renowned artists from Hue, part of the collection of Hue Museum of Fine Arts, have just been introduced to the public. They are captivating not only for their emotional depth, but also as a special reunion of artists and art lovers.

As a unique handmade product that combines both the art of mixing and shaping, the artistic powder flowers require both the meticulousness and ingenuity of the hands.

Among more than 100 fine artworks with the theme "Fine Art Works - Collection of Hue Fine Arts Museum" being organized by Hue Fine Arts Museum at 15 Le LoiSt., Hue City, more than half are typical works of famous artists from the ancient capital or once associated with this land.
