On October 27th, Hue City Farmers' Union and Que Lam Organic Agriculture One Member Limited Liability Company signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop organic and circular agriculture and strengthen agricultural value chain linkages in the city. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, attended the signing ceremony and delivered remarks.

On the morning of October 22nd, the Department of Science and Technology, in coordination with Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and relevant agencies, held a workshop on introducing and connecting technologies available for transfer to support the development of high-tech agriculture in Hue City.

On the afternoon of October 16, the Ministry of Education and Training held a scientific seminar entitled ‘Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries’ at Hue University. Prof. Dr. Le Quan, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, attended and chaired the seminar.

On October 10, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held a scientific workshop themed ‘Mechanization for Smart Agriculture, Processing Technologies and Materials, and Sustainable Energy toward Net Zero’.

Irrigation and hydropower reservoirs in the area continue to operate safely. The Sub-department of Irrigation and Climate Change (the Department of Agriculture and Environment) has prepared plans to proactively operate reservoirs and ensure the safety of downstream areas under different rainfall scenarios.

On September 11, the Sub-department of Irrigation and Climate Change reported that irrigation and hydropower reservoirs in the area continue to operate safely. The Department of Agriculture and Environment has prepared reservoir operation scenarios for forecast rainfall levels, ranging from 250 to 500 mm.

On the afternoon of September 9, in Hue City, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Department of Environment of Shizuoka City (Japan), held a technical workshop to promote carbon neutrality in Hue City in 2026.

From August 10 to 12, a team of staff from the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University) collaborated with a team of doctors from Hue Central Hospital to successfully carry out a series of trials of an automated surgical robotic arm system on an animal model (pigs).
