On the morning of September 18th, Hue City Department of Science and Technology held a council meeting to evaluate and consider commissioning a state-funded science and technology task on developing a real-time system to control and simulate flood propagation and provide smart warnings, serving disaster management and response across the city.

On the morning of August 20, thousands of first-year students across Hue City started their new school year. After its preliminary round, the 2026 Children’s painting contest based on books, themed ‘Drawing the Future with Books’, attracted over 350 paintings submitted by students aged 6 to 15 from across Hue City. Organized by Hue City Library, the contest selected 50 works from the entries for the final round, which was held on August 14.
