The ceramic art camp titled “Hue with Uncle Ho” officially opened on the afternoon of March 10th at Ngoc An Ceramic Space (108 Le Ngo Cat Street, Thuy Xuan Ward, Thuan Hoa District), attracting a large number of artists.

On the afternoon of February 28, Hue Sciences High school for Gifted Students (under the University of Sciences, Hue University) held a mobile propaganda activity, including an exhibition and a contest Ring the Golden Bell about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.

Paintings about Uncle Ho always create deep emotions in viewers’ hearts. And, the artworks displayed at the beginning of the Year of the Snake at Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City, located at 7 Le Loi street, Thuan Hoa District, have left such impressions on those who came to appreciate them.

This is the title of the fifth book by Dr. Chu Duc Tinh (former Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum) about President Ho Chi Minh. The author is one of the few in-depth researchers on President Ho Chi Minh, with the aim "to prove a confirmed truth: President Ho Chi Minh is an exemplary communist, a leader whose words are consistent with his actions" – as the author shared at the beginning of the book.

During his childhood, President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked, studied, and participated in patriotic activities in Thua Thien Hue for nearly 10 years. This was during the period of 1895 - 1901, when He was known as Nguyen Sinh Cung (from 5 to 11 years old), and the second period of 1906 - 1909, when He was known as Nguyen Tat Thanh (from 16 to 19 years old).

We went to Mr. Tran Van Duc's house, residing at 9/172 Nguyen Trai, Tay Loc Ward (Hue City) right on the 133rd birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh. Duc's house is located deep in a quiet and peaceful alley.

On the afternoon of May 19, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietravel Company - Hue branch and related units to organize a free bicycle tour themed "The journey following Uncle Ho’s footsteps in Hue".

The system of automatic voice-over on relics and galleries of the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Museum, together with various souvenirs and gifts were introduced and launched on the afternoon of November 22 on the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

While Nghe An was his hometown, where Ho Chi Minh was born, Hue was considered as his second hometown with his best youth memories, where his revolutionary ideology was fostered.

Quynh Teu, a man of the Co Tu ethnic group, who had contributed a lot to the revolution against the Americans in the mountainous area of Nam Dong, considered the silver bangle, the handkerchiefs, and the aluminum mug presented to him by Uncle Ho a treasure which should be cherished and well protected for his descendants.
