On November 19th, leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received donations from representatives of Mitani Sangyo Group, who visited Hue City and presented 200 million VND to support Hue people in recovering from the recent flood.

This was among the key outcomes shared at the Conference on Reviewing the Implementation of Resolution 05/2019/NQ-HDND issued by the Provincial People’s Council (now Hue City People’s Council) on policies supporting community-based tourism (CBT) development in Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City) through 2025. The conference, organized by the Department of Tourism on the morning of November 12th, gathered representatives from departments, agencies, and 40 communes and wards across the city.

On October 30, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, visited and encouraged people at a charity kitchen located at Truong An Primary School, Thuan Hoa Ward.

On October 5, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in coordination with Hue City Youth Union, organized the “Supporting students to school” scholarship awarding ceremony with the theme “One aspiration - Ten thousand hearts” for 89 new students in Hue City who face difficult circumstances with strong determination.

One had planned to put aside her dream of studying, the other had lost both parents, yet both top-score female students were able to step into the university lecture hall thanks to the dedication and support of the lecturers at Hue University of Education.

This was a key focus at the event “Tech Startup Day: Connecting the Technology Startup Ecosystem in Hue”, organized by the Hue Innovation Hub on August 29.

On the afternoon of February 28th, Hue City and Grab Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement programs and initiatives supporting the city’s digital transformation goals.

Although it has been officially operational for less than six months, the Provincial Trade and Investment Promotion, and Business Support Center (now under Hue centrally-governed municipality), with predetermined functions and missions, has made significant contributions to supporting businesses in trade promotion and resolving various challenges and obstacles.

On the afternoon of October 9, at Thanh Nien Guest House, Tuoi Tre newspaper coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to organize the "Tiep Suc Den Truong" scholarship awarding ceremony for 91 new students with difficult circumstances from Thua Thien Hue (82 new students) and Quang Ngai (9 new students).

To prepare for the upcoming final round of the Provincial Innovation Startup Competition 2024, on September 30, the Department of Science and Technology held a training session for representatives of 15 ideas and projects competing in the final round of this competition.
