To ensure the health and safety of candidates participating in and those involving in the High School Graduation Examination this year, the City’s Department of Health has rolled out a series of measures covering healthcare services, disease prevention and control, and food safety during the exam period.

On the morning of June 6, as part of the series of activities under “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026”, a sailing performance on the Bay’s waters was held for the first time.

On May 31 (the 15th day of the fourth lunar month), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City solemnly held the Grand Vesak Celebration, Buddhist Calendar 2570 at the Executive Board’s headquarters - Tu Dam Pagoda (Thuan Hoa Ward), in the joyful presence of thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhists, and people from near and far.

As part of the celebrations for Vesak 2570 (Buddhist Era) and Hue Festival 2026, the Vegetarian Food Festival - Hue Festival 2026 officially opened on the afternoon of May 28th (the 12th day of the fourth lunar month) at the riverside area along the Perfume River. The event is jointly organized by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2026.

On the occasion of the Vesak celebration for Buddhist Era 2570 (2026 CE), on the morning of May 29th, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister, led a delegation representing the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to visit and extend congratulations to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and Buddhist dignitaries in the locality.

On the morning of May 28 (the 12th day of the fourth lunar month of the Year of the Horse), a delegation of leaders from Hue City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the City’s National Assembly Delegation, visited and extended greetings to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the city on the occasion of Vesak 2570 celebrations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has recently released the 2025 Satisfaction Index of Public Administrative Services (SIPAS) and the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX). According to the results, Hue continues to rank among the country’s leading localities in administrative reform and public service quality.

Thanks to AI training programs integrated with sales skills, content creation, and the use of digital tools, the lives of many visually impaired individuals have improved significantly. From having limited access to technology, they are gradually mastering digital tools, improving their livelihoods, and confidently participating in the digital economy.

On the afternoon of March 7, the art photography exhibition themed “Perspectives on heritage” offered the public an emotionally rich artistic space, featuring 90 works by photographers from Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. The event is part of a literature and arts exchange program closely following the traditional relationship of “Hanoi - Hue - Saigon”, which has been maintained since 2023.
