On the afternoon of September 9, in Hue City, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Department of Environment of Shizuoka City (Japan), held a technical workshop to promote carbon neutrality in Hue City in 2026.

At Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum 2026, the thematic session ‘From Heritage Conservation to Cultural Industries: Unlocking Potential and Connecting Opportunities for Local Cooperation’ highlighted how heritage is increasingly being seen as a resource for development when connected with communities, technology, tourism and cultural industries.

This approach is bringing Hue to life on social media while giving travelers from around the world more interesting information to inspire their own experiences in the city.

On the afternoon of August 28, the Standing Committee of Hue City Farmers’ Union opened the 2026 Agriproduct Fair, featuring and promoting outstanding agricultural products and OCOP-certified products.

The 8th Hue Thanh Tra Pomelo Festival 2026, with the theme 'The Sweetness Once Offered to Kings', will take place from August 29th to 31st, organized by Thuy Xuan Ward People’s Committee.

On July 8, 2026, the Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee issued Decision No. 2376/QD-UBND approving the Project ‘Exploiting and Promoting the Value of the Complex of Hue Monuments to 2035’.

From the simple products made by the people of Pho Trach village, over time, the Bang grass (Lepironia articulata) of this Hue countryside has been elevated, becoming a brand not only environmentally friendly but also a way to promote the cultural values of Hue.
