On the morning of March 10, a traditional boat racing took place on a section of the Bo River passing through the Van Cu - Nam Thanh Residential Area (Kim Tra Ward). This is one of the key highlights in the series of activities of the Ba Bun Worship Ceremony, held over two days from March 9 to 10.

Kim Tra Ward Culinary Festival took place over 2 days, March 9 and 10, at the Exhibition House of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage “Van Cu Rice Noodle Craft” (Van Cu - Nam Thanh residential area), drawing the participation of a large number of residents and visitors.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism released on the morning of March 1, the number of tourists to Hue in the first two months continued to rise sharply, estimated at over 1.2 million arrivals, while the number of visitors to the city in February, 2026 alone witnessed an increase of nearly 72%. Especially, the total revenue from tourism rose significantly compared to the previous year.

On the morning of February 13th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa Ward organized a program giving gift and assistance for 386 local households that suffered severe damage due to heavy rains and flooding.

On the evening of February 11 (the 24th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake), in the shimmering garden setting of the Royal Treasury Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the “Royal Tet” program, opening a spring celebration space rich in ancient royal tradition. Building on the results achieved in 2025, Hue City has set a growth target of over 10% per year for the 2026 - 2030 period. By 2030, the city strives to reach a growth rate of 11.5 - 12%, and a budget revenue of 28,000 - 30,000 billion VND.

Amid the rhythm of life in Hue, Ca Dao Dance Troupe stands as one of the few collectives that have steadfastly pursued a professional path in dance, contributing to the enrichment of Hue Imperial Citadel’s contemporary artistic life. Leading the Ca Dao Dance Troupe for over 11 years is Ms. Dang Nu Hoang Quyen (born in 1980), a choreographer who also serves as a lecturer in the Faculty of Political Theory at the University of Sciences, Hue University.

The Cooperative Fair, held by the City Cooperative Alliance over two days, January 17 -18, at the Cooperative Economy Platform (16 Nguyen Luong Bang, Thuan Hoa Ward), was not only a shopping destination, but also a vital bridge bringing clean agricultural produce, OCOP products, and local specialties closer to consumers, contributing to spreading the value of the collective economy and building trust in local agricultural products.

In 2025, Hue City Library served more than 1.2 million readers both in person and online. The library also issued over 5,700 library cards to readers.

By December 2026, the city will complete land clearance, handing over 100% of clean site area for construction of the North–South high-speed railway project, in compliance with Government requirements.
