The 2026 National Short Course (25m pool) Swimming and Finswimming Championships officially kicked off on the morning of April 5th at Hue City Sports Center (2 Le Quy Don) in Hue, featuring many outstanding swimmers such as Nguyen Huy Hoang, Vo Thi My Tien, Thuy Hien, Pham Thanh Bao, and Nguyen Quoc, … the tournament promises intense, high-level competition with the potential for multiple new national records.

The 2026 National Beach Wrestling Championship took place from March 8 to 15 in Bac Ninh, bringing together nearly 600 male and female athletes from 21 provinces, cities, and sectors. Competitors contested 54 weight categories in both the championship and youth championship divisions.

The 2025 Men’s National Student Football Championship - TV360 Cup ended with the championship title belonging to Hue University after a nail-biting victory over Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports in the penalty shootout.

At the 2025 National Student Vovinam Championship held from October 19th to 25th in Vinh Long, the Vovinam team of Hue University excellently won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals.

With excellent achievements at the 2025 National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Championship, key figures of Hue City’s wrestling team continue to affirm their determination to conquer the peak at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the morning of September 21st, the Association for people with Disabilities - Support for people with Disabilities and Orphans (ADSDO) held a ceremony to award coaches and athletes who achieved outstanding results at the 2025 National Championships for Athletes with Disabilities.

The National Sepak Takraw Championship 2025 for elite teams officially opened on the afternoon of September 15th at the square opposite Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. The tournament is co-organized by the Department of Culture & Sports and Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation.

The 2025 National Sports Championship for the Disabled were held from September 7 to 14 in Ho Chi Minh City. All athletes from Hue City won medals at the event.

The 2025 National Youth Age Group Pickleball Championship kicked off on the morning of August 9th at the Pickleball courts of Hue College of Industry. This tournament is part of the national competition system.

After five days of intense and thrilling competition, the 2025 National Karate Championship concluded on the afternoon of June 30th at Hue City Central Sports Arena.
