On the afternoon of September 5, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the City’s National Assembly Delegation, received H.E. ITO Naoki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam, during his visit and working trip to Hue City.

During this year’s National Day holiday, from August 29 to September 2, Hue City was estimated to welcome over 651,000 tourist arrivals, up about 231% year on year.

The Shuttlecock World Championships 2026 took place in the Federal Republic of Germany from August 25 to 30. Contributing to the Vietnamese national team’s title defense, athletes from Hue City achieved impressive results.
