On June 19th, a working delegation from Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee, led by Vice Chairwoman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha, had a meeting with Hue City People's Committee to exchange experience in heritage management, preservation, and promotion in connection with tourism development and cultural industries.

On the morning of June 17th, Hue City People's Committee held a meeting and commendation ceremony for Hue Football Club following its achievement of securing one of the two direct promotion spots to compete in the National First Division for the 2026/2027 season. On the afternoon of June 15th, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang received a delegation of officials from Dongnae District (Busan, South Korea), led by District Mayor Jang Joon-Yong, during their official visit to Hue City.

Marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), Hue plans to present gifts from the State President to over 24,000 people with meritorious service and their families, with total funding reaching nearly VND 7.4 billion.

The People's Committee of Hoa Chau Ward has officially issued a plan for the organization of Hoa Chau City Trail 2026. This will be the first event of its kind in Hue, combining road running and trail running (City Trail), with the longest distance extending up to 42 kilometers.

The visit and working trip of the delegation from Nara Prefecture, Japan, to Hue is expected to create new opportunities for cooperation, further strengthening the friendship between the two localities as well as between Vietnam and Japan.
