The Shuttlecock World Championships 2026 took place in the Federal Republic of Germany from August 25 to 30. Contributing to the Vietnamese national team’s title defense, athletes from Hue City achieved impressive results.

The 2026 Hue City Open Pickleball Tournament for the Uyen Phuong Cup opened on the morning of August 8 at Uyen Phuong Pickleball courts at No. 150 Nguyen Trai St. The event is part of Hue Sports Festival 2026, jointly organized by the Department of Culture and Sports and Uyen Phuong Sports JSC. The second Sline Tennis Forum Tennis Tournament for the Sline Cup 2026 opened on the afternoon of August 6 at the Sline Tennis Center courts (Street No. 7, An Cuu City). The event is part of the Hue Sports Festival 2026 series, co-organized by the Sline Tennis Forum and the Vinh Infinity Tennis Forum.

On the night of August 1, the opening ceremony of the 4th ‘Hue Sports Festival’ 2026, a sports festival for community health, was held at Tu Do Stadium.

The 2026 National Health Exercise Championship and National Health Exercise Festival officially opened on the morning of July 31 at Canh Buom Sports Arena (100 Pham Van Dong Street). The event is part of Hue Sports Festival 2026 and marks the first time Hue has hosted the national competition.

The 4th Hue Sports Festival, a sports event for community health, is taking place from July 17 to August 21. More than just a community sports festival, it is also designed to pursue broader and longer-term goals.

On the morning of July 16, the 1st Hue Taekwondo Festival officially kicks off at Van The My Sports Arena (No. 11 Dong Da St.), serving as the opening event of the 4th Hue Sports Festival 2026.
