On the afternoon of March 7, the art photography exhibition themed “Perspectives on heritage” offered the public an emotionally rich artistic space, featuring 90 works by photographers from Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. Inside a workshop thick with the scent of cement on Lai The Street (My Thuong Ward), there is a craftsman who remains devoted, day after day, to the meticulous work of casting bonsai pots. He is Nguyen Van Nhan, 53 years old, with 15 years of experience dedicated to creating pots tailored specifically for bonsai artworks.

Accelerating site clearance and deploying projects and works to ensure they stay on schedule was the requirement emphasized by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, during a field survey and inspection of several key projects and works in the city on the morning of April 2.

Through his deep and sustained research on Hue, Nguyen Dac Xuan had the opportunity to meet many remarkable figures who helped illuminate and enrich the history and culture of the former imperial capital over the past century.

On the morning of March 6, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Institution for Strategy and Policy Studies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, organized a workshop to solicit feedback from central and local departments, agencies, experts, and businesses. The consultation was held to complete the Project on Industrial Development of Hue City for the 2025-2030 period, with a vision toward 2045.

On the shady Le Duan street, there is a small handicraft workshop resounding daily with the whir of grinders and the buzz of cutting machines. There, coconut shells once thought to be discarded are adorned with shimmering mother-of-pearl, transformed into souvenirs imbued with the essence of Hue.
