Following the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026, production activities at businesses across Hue have quickly resumed a new cycle. Production floors are once again bustling, and assembly lines are operating continuously to ensure export delivery schedules, laying the groundwork for the city’s 2026 growth targets.

On the morning of March 9th, the Hue City Employment Service Center officially launched the Employment Month 2026 program with the theme “Spring Job Connection”. It attracted the participation of many businesses both within and outside the city, creating opportunities for direct connections between companies and job seekers during the first months of the year.

On the morning of February 24, the City Labor Federation announced that more than 98% of workers have returned to work following the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 holiday. Specifically, in economic zones and industrial parks, this rate reached 99%.

On the evening of February 12, at Phu Bai International Airport, the City Labor Federation organized a welcome and gift-giving program for union members and workers on the “Trade Union Flight - Spring 2026,” returning home to celebrate Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

​ On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on February 8th, the Trade Union of Thuan Hoa Ward organized the program “Tet Reunion - Spring in Gratitude to the Party”, featuring many practical activities to support union members and workers so they can welcome the traditional Tet holiday in joy and warmth. Hue Central Hospital also organized the program “Spring Tet Market” for disadvantaged patients currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

On the afternoon of January 12, Hue City Employment Service Center held a conference to deploy its tasks for 2026, combined with a celebration of its 35th anniversary.

In the closing days of the year, while many enterprises are racing to fulfill urgent orders, trade unions and employers are quietly working to care for union members and workers ahead of Tet (the Lunar New Year) - those who directly generate value in production.

On the morning of December 30, Hue City Department of Home Affairs reported that in 2025, wages, bonuses, and labor relations at businesses across the city remained broadly stable. Workers’ salaries and Lunar New Year bonuses continued to rise compared to the previous year, with no cases of wage arrears recorded.

People say that after days submerged in floodwater, when the water recedes, the ground is left with a dull, gloomy gray. Yet it is within that muted palette that the resilient life force of nature begins to sprout - taking root, greening again, and stirring with new vitality through the caring hands of the city’s green-park workers.

On the morning of December 2nd, the Department of Overseas Labor Management, the Center for Overseas Labor, and the Overseas Employment Support Fund (Ministry of Home Affairs), in coordination with the Department of Home Affairs, organized a training session to enhance the capacity of officials and communicators responsible for introducing, mobilizing, and advising workers (laborers) as well as their families on overseas employment under contract.
