These days, demand for skilled workers working in the field of agriculture and forestry is growing significantly, both domestically and internationally. This trend is opening up high-pay career opportunities for agriculture and forestry students right after graduation, or even before they graduate from university.

On May 26, the Center for Social Research and Development (CSRD), in collaboration with Oxfam in Vietnam, organized the project launching workshop “Inclusive and Climate-Resilient Water Governance and Livelihoods in Vietnam” (IP3 Project).

Traditional culture is now being embraced by young people in new, youthful, engaging and accessible ways through craft village workshop tours. More importantly, these activities help preserve and spread cultural and historical values while honoring the craftsmanship and dedication of people in traditional villages. ​

A consultation workshop on finalizing policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was jointly organized on May 18th by the Agency for Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance and the International Labor Organization.

At a workshop themed “Hoanh Son Quan – Ngang Pass: Historical and cultural issues” organized by Ha Tinh Historical Science Association and the People’s Committee of Hoanh Son Ward on the morning of May 21, delegates agreed that experiences of conservation and value promotion from the Hai Van Quan relic site in Hue City could be applied to Hoanh Son Quan.

“Vai nom tren cat” (Fish Trap Baskets on the Sand) or “Vai chai tren cat” (Fishing Nets on the Sand) is one of the activities staged by residents of Thuan An from the familiar movements of traditional fishing work. During every festival season in this coastal area, “Vai nom tren cat” becomes a vibrant source of spiritual and cultural enjoyment for local people and visitors alike.

On the afternoon of May 8th, the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee held a working session with a delegation from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), led by Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, and President of VAST, to assess the implementation results of the 2025–2030 science and technology cooperation agreement between the two parties.
