“Thuan Hoa is a local publishing house, but not merely a local one, as Hue is a long-established historical and cultural center of the country and is also the one being internationally recognized. Therefore, from the very beginning, the publishing house has strived to produce works worthy of the historic land of Thuan Hoa,” Dr. Nguyen Duy To, Director of Thuan Hoa Publishing House, quoted the late journalist Hoang Tung, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, when addressing the functions and development orientation of Thuan Hoa Publishing House at a friendly gathering marking its 45th anniversary (1981-2026), held on the morning of February 10.

At a small workshop on Chi Lang Street, artisan Do Huu Triet is experimenting with new applications of Phap lam. A brass violin stands out as his boldest creation, reflecting his aspiration to bring traditional materials into innovative and unconventional forms.

​ On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on February 8th, the Trade Union of Thuan Hoa Ward organized the program “Tet Reunion - Spring in Gratitude to the Party”, featuring many practical activities to support union members and workers so they can welcome the traditional Tet holiday in joy and warmth. On the morning of February 6, a delegation from the Ministry of Health, led by Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen, visited and inspected the preparations to ensure medical services for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 at Hue Central Hospital. On the morning of February 2, the supervisory and inspection delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the deputies to the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, led by General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, and member of the National Election Council, conducted an inspection and working session with Hue City.

On the afternoon of January 29, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, chaired a working session with the Party Committees of four communes and wards, including Quang Dien, Dan Dien, Phong Quang, and Hoa Chau.
