More than 100 works by 41 renowned artists inspired by the literary legacy of Nguyen Huy Thiep were unveiled to the Hue public on the afternoon of July 5th at the Lan Vien Co Tich space (95-96-98 Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

The Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei has presented a collection of Vietnamese literature and cultural research books to the library of the International School Brunei (ISB), including famous literary works translated into English.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. Leaders from relevant departments and sectors also attended the working sessions.

On the morning of June 25, Hue City Labor Federation held a conference to review the campaign “Building Close-knit Families, Prosperous, Progressive, Happy, and Civilized Workers in Hue City” and commend outstanding families in the period of 2021 - 2025.

“Each journalist chooses their own path to delve deep into the field of words. I’m fortunate to be born and work as a journalist right in the sacred land of Hue Ancient Capital, a place rich in cultural values. Although Hue’s literary heritage is “tranquil and moss-covered”, to me, it is always captivating”.

On the afternoon of June 19, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Member of Hue Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to discuss cooperation on investment promotion and expanding air connectivity, contributing to effectively operate Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport.

In addition to his field assignments, Van Thang, a journalist, (from Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper, stationed in Hue City and Quang Tri Province) is also known for his philanthropic work that have helped many people in difficult circumstances.

The 8th Literature and Arts Criticism Writing Workshop, organized by Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, takes place from June 16th to 20th.

On the afternoon of June 18, Song Huong Magazine held a launch event for the book - research work “A Chronicle of Hue Journalism History (1913 - 2020)”. This book was compiled by Song Huong Magazine and Mr. Duong Phuoc Thu (lead editor), a journalist and a researcher.

Inspired by the flexible modular system of sculptor Diem Phung Thi, and with deep respect and admiration for her talent and creativity, the artists have explored and created new works of art.
