The event titled “Hue - Innovation for Sustainable Development” (Hue Innovation Day 2025) and the forum “Developing Private Economy in Connection with Heritage Economy Development in Hue” were recently held, opening new perspectives on harnessing heritage values as an economic resource. From the stories of young businesses to the strategy of heritage urban development, Hue is affirming its own path: Turning heritage into a sustainable development momentum.

In Hue, the cultural value of Vietnamese tea will be honored and connected through cultural exchanges among artisans, tea masters, and brands from Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam at Hue - International Tea Festival 2025, taking place from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025.

As part of the 5th Regional Conference of Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) - Asia-Pacific Region, the discussion session on the afternoon of October 15th became one of the most notable highlights of the event. The ancestral house, which is located in Alley 281 on Chi Lang Street, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, is dedicated to founding fathers of tuong. This house of great historical and cultural value has been recognized as National Heritage Site.

Amid the majestic Truong Son Mountain, the Pa Co people continue to preserve a sacred festival, where the sound of gongs and drums blends with the flickering red flames. A Rieu Piing is a time to honor ancestors, a communal celebration that illuminates the unique cultural values of the Pa Co community.

With a conical hat painted with a Ly Dynasty dragon motif rich in Hue’s identity, K-pop star G-Dragon surprised fans when he appeared at Noi Bai Airport. That very hat was a creation of Maries Co., Ltd., founded and led by CEO Ho Thi Suong Lan, a businesswoman from Hue.

In the journey to spread and preserve the value of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) for both today and the future, along with artisans, there are also music teachers in schools. They are considered as emissaries, who contribute to spreading the famous art form of Hue to students, ensuring its continuity for generations to come.
