On the afternoon of March 12th, the Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project in Vietnam officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with two leading tourism training institutions in central Vietnam: the School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University and Hue Tourism College. Attending the signing ceremony was Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh.

On the afternoon of January 29th, Hue University of Sciences High School for Gifted Students organized an experiential activity titled “Hue Tuong masks - When art becomes heritage” for students. The program is part of the Local Education curriculum, aiming to help students gain a deeper understanding of local history and culture, thereby fostering love for their homeland and an awareness of the importance of respecting and preserving traditional cultural heritage values.

A friend of mine just came from the Southeastern region to visit Hue. After a day visiting various destinations, from the Imperial Citadel to the tombs of Emperors Gia Long and Minh Mang, then heading to the Van Thanh - Vo Thanh temples and Thien Mu Pagoda, my friend warmly remarked: “In Hue, wherever you go, you can see the Huong River. On August 6th, Hue Central Hospital and FUJIFILM Vietnam Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step forward in professional development and the application of advanced technology in the field of endoscopy.

On July 30th, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports announced that Hue City People’s Committee has issued an official document approving the continuing of archaeological excavation of the remaining area approximately 200 square meters at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site (Kim Tra Ward, Hue City). The goal is to gain a comprehensive and complete understanding of the Lieu Coc temple-tower complex.
