On the morning of August 28, Vietnam Grab LLC collaborated with Tourism Department to hold a ceremony to present the project of installing Grab stone benches and decorative pillars at 3 locations, including Hue Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market, and Phu Mong Street.

On the afternoon of August 27, the Tourism Department informed about the provincial tourism situation for the upcoming National Day on September 2nd.

Following the success of four previous events, attracting a large number of residents and tourists, Hue City continues with the 5th edition of the “Hue Jogging – Running for the community” program in 2024, themed “Always New Hue.”

Hue has many outstanding fields to join UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). The close tourism cooperation with ASEAN+3 countries is bringing many positive signals for the national tourism industry. For Thua Thien Hue, the tourism sector needs to find ways to exploit and develop this international tourist market to create a major breakthrough.

On the morning of July 28, the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam”, funded by the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) - Norway (through the WWF - Vietnam), received by Hue City People's Committee, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Tourism, organized the inauguration of 5 waiting lounges and free water stations at tourist destinations, including: Thien Mu Pagoda, Bao Vinh Ancient Town, Ban Nguyet Bridge - Me Wharf, Vong Canh Hill, and Sinh Village wrestling area (Hue City).
