Thua Thien Hue is one of the 12 localities assigned the task of actively selecting suitable night tourism models, with the goal by 2030 to establish Vietnam's night-tourism-product brand. Choosing which products for night tourism to avoid duplication among regions and to reflect the characteristics of each locality is an issue that should be taken into careful consideration.

Linkage is an essential element of tourism development and promotion. To foster sustainable tourism, regions in Central Vietnam must engage in research to identify tourism trends and formulate timely, suitable policies for the development of new products. They must also cooperate closely to facilitate tourism growth.

Promoting the potential and unique identity of each locality to build tourism products is a right direction. However, in the context of great challenges, a movement is required for tourist destinations to survive and develop, which need to change their approaches and perspectives in term of development so as to attract visitors.

On the morning of June 15, the Department of Planning and Investment coordinated with the People’s Committee of Phong Dien district and the Cooperation Plus Investment and Consultancy Joint Stock Company (CoPLUS), a consultancy unit (belonging to the Project of Researching, Proposing, and Consulting for the implementation of the action plan to support sustainable businesses), held a program “Phuoc Tich fam trip and hackathon”.

In order to create a connection and to balance the nightlife and entertainment activities in Hue city and to form an attractive nightlife tourism product to serve locals and tourists, Hue will soon open a pedestrian street at Hai Ba Trung Street in Vinh Ninh Ward. Around this event, Thua Thien Hue Weekly had a talk with Mr. Tran Song, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee.

“If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together” - a saying by billionaire Warren Buffett - is the motivation for Thua Thien Hue to develop health tourism products. It still takes a long time for this type of tourism to become special, lucrative, and boost healthcare into an important economic sector of the local, but once many hands come together to connect and move forward, Thua Thien Hue will go a long way.
