Hue to play leader role in local tourism development association group in 2024

HNN.VN - In 2023, the five localities have promoted tourism linkage and achieved many positive results, especially in product development and tourism promotion. The affiliated group has jointly done promotions at international tourism fairs and organized introduction programs in other countries.

A total of five cities and provinces, including Quang Nam, Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh has culminated local tourism development linkage in 2023.

In 2023, the five localities have promoted tourism linkage and achieved many positive results, especially in product development and tourism promotion. The affiliated group has jointly done promotions at international tourism fairs and organized introduction programs in other countries.

Also, 5 localities have welcomed many fam trip and presstrip groups from Japan, Korea, India, Taiwan, Philippines, etc. These trips aim to survey destinations, tourism products as well as meeting and connecting local tourism businesses so as to continue to recover tourism in international tourist markets.

In 2024, Thua Thien Hue has played the leader role of the tourism development cooperation group, which comprises these 5 localities.

Assessing flood situation and building digital flood map for natural disaster prevention and control

Following the directive from the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, on November 10, Hue City Civil Defense Steering Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of wards and communes in the city to conduct surveys to mark the highest flood traces during the flooding event, from October 25 to November 3, within the premises of offices, schools, low-lying routes, public works, and flood warning towers in the local areas.
