On the afternoon of May 15, at the Hue City People’s Committee headquarters, a sponsorship signing ceremony took place between the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2025 and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), marking BIDV’s collaboration in key cultural and tourism events during the National Tourism Year in Hue.

The “rendezvous” through art took place in late April and extended throughout May, with a brief yet comprehensive name: “Loving Hue.”

Overcoming fierce competition, many healthcare professionals from Hue City have earned scholarships for being trained abroad. After a journey of dedication and effort, they not only bring back advanced knowledge to innovate and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, but also spread a spirit of continuous learning and self-improvement.

With the determination of becoming one of the leading smart cities in Vietnam, Hue is making lots of progress in digital transformation, from developing its digital economy to raising the quality of life for its people, opening up many opportunities for sustainable development.

Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh has requested relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to continue close coordination, urge progress in implementation, and resolve difficulties and obstacles in site clearance for projects, and strive to complete the set goals in 2025.

During her trip to Hue, Ms. Sandrine, a French tourist, and her group were amazed by how green the city was. With admiration, she asked: “What has enabled Hue to balance economic development with heritage and natural resource preservation?”

This statement was emphasized by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung, Architect, (Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University) at the seminar “French Colonial Architecture and the “Western Quarter” in Hue City”, which took place on the afternoon of May 11 at the Hue Book and Cultural Space (No. 23 - 25 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa District).

To spread the value of Hue Bookcase and reading culture within schools, Hue City Institute for Development Studies has organized activities to introduce Hue Bookcase in schools. On the morning of May 10, the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Finance and Hue City Business Association held a ceremony to announce the digital platform “For Businesses”, which is integrated on Hue-S, and the “Digital Working” platform for the City Business Association Office and its members.

On May 10th, Hue - Urban Plastic Reduction in Central Vietnam Project (TVA Project), in coordination with the Department of Tourism and People's Committee of Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town), held the launch ceremony for the low-plastic tourism site at Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge.
