In its development strategy, Thua Thien Hue aims to attract luxury tourists who have high spending. This orientation is suitable for the ancient capital of Hue - a destination of rich culture.

On the morning of March 28, the Department of Tourism in collaboration with German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the People’s Committee of Hue City and Vietsoftpro Joint Stock Company held a seminar with the theme “Public bike tour design in Thua Thien Hue”.

"Thien thi may doa" (Blossoms of Zen Poetry) was a performance of Zen poetry recitation taking place at Duyet Thi Duong Theater on the evening of March 26. This was an activity within the framework of Vietnamese Zen poetry week jointly organized by Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Tam Viet cultural research group.

On the afternoon of March 24, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Thua Thien Hue and Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association opened the 6th Youth Fine Art Exhibition at the Gallery of the College of Arts – Hue University.

On the morning of March 12, the Alliance of Arts and Literature Association of Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Thua Thien Hue and Thua Thien Hue Photography Association to hold a ceremony of offering flowers and incense to commemorate the celebrity Dang Huy Tru, the ancestor of Vietnam’s photography at the ancestral house of worship of the Dang Family (Thanh Luong village, Huong Xuan ward, Huong Tra town).

On the morning of March 7, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with the Mekong Institute (MI) to organize a seminar on "Smart and sustainable tourism in Thua Thien Hue Province".
