With only 4 days left until the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday, and April 30 and May 1 holidays, Thua Thien Hue's tourism industry is ready to welcome tourists on these holidays.

The conference themed “Developing an open innovation start-up ecosystem in association with investment and technology transfer activities in Thua Thien Hue province” was held on the morning of April 18th.

In response to the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, on the morning of April 18, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened the exhibition “Preserving the Historical Vestige – Discovering Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion)”. On April 13th, VnExpress newspaper, in coordination with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and FPT Online Joint Stock Company, held a press conference to announce the VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2023 race.

On the morning of April 11th, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) for 2022, in which Thua Thien Hue province ranked 6th.

Allocating resources to develop urban space in lagoon and seaside areas; investing in Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone; clarifying the shape of a modern Hue City, etc., are some suggestions from leading experts on planning, architecture, urbanization, economy, and so on, at the conference organized by the Provincial People's Committee on the afternoon of April 1st to collect opinions on the Urban Master Plan of Thua Thien Hue to 2045, with a vision to 2065.

Towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic relations (September 21, 1973 – September 21, 2023), on the morning of March 30, the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue collaborated with Thua Thien Hue College of Education organized an exchanging program called “IKEBANA art of flower arrangement”.
