130 rare Sino-Vietnamese Demotic documents, including conferring ordinance, recognitions, diplomas, and other documents, which have been digitized and reconstructed, have just been exhibited and showcased to the public by Thua Thien Hue General Library on the morning of December 15 at the library space (29A Le Quy Don street, Hue City).

On the afternoon of December 12th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Edgar Doerig, Head of the Bureau régional pour l'Asie et le Pacifique - Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (BRAP-OIF) (or the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the International Organization of La Francophonie), and Mr. Aldo de Luca, Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland to Vietnam.

Recently, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) co-hosted a conference titled: “Green Transitioning for Economic Prosperity: Future for East-West Corridor”. Mr. John Rockhold, President of AmCham Vietnam, foreign diplomatic missions, businesses, experts, and investors from Vietnam, the United States, Laos, and Thailand attended the conference.

Despite of the onset of rainy season, when tourists are no longer rushing to seek tourist destinations, Thua Thien Hue is proactively attracting tourists in the last months with numerous winter tourism activities and products in Hue.

With its potential and strength in tourism and distinctive cultural features, Thua Thien Hue has just been recommended by Travel+Leisure Travel Magazine (The US) as one of the must-visit destinations in Asia that travelers should not miss in their journeys in 2024.

On the evening of November 27th in Hanoi, Vietnam Women's Union organized the award ceremony for Vietnamese Women's Prize in 2022 and 2023. Thua Thien Hue boasts two individuals receiving the awards among the total of 19 outstanding individuals nationwide.

From the 23rd position nationwide in 2016, Thua Thien Hue's spearhead education has risen to 9th, and its position in the top 10 has been maintained and consolidated in recent years.

Along with six typical dishes of Hue that have been honored, many other dishes from the localities in Thua Thien Hue could continue to make it into the top "1,000 typical Vietnamese culinary dishes" and contribute to promoting the Vietnamese brand globally through culinary culture.

On the afternoon of November 21st, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with Mr. Olivier Brochet, Ambassador of the French Republic to Vietnam, on the occasion of a working visit of the delegation to Thua Thien Hue province.

On the afternoon of November 20, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee and the authorities of Kyoto Province (Japan) held a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish friendly and cooperative relations between the two sides.
