Inspired by two world-renowned artists, Pablo Picasso and Le Ba Dang, children have reimagined famous artworks in their own poetic ways, creating a space where people, nature, and memory blend.

From July 16 to 21, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, attended the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC48) in Busan, South Korea. During the visit, the delegation also organized a series of large-scale cultural and tourism promotion events in Seoul and Busan.

For the first time, when sailboats appeared on the waters of Lang Co Bay, they brought a fresh new image to Hue’s coastal tourism. Beyond serving as a highlight in a series of events promoting the value of one of the world’s most beautiful bays, the sailing determination has also opened up new opportunities for developing modern marine sports.

Having withstood countless historical upheavals, tens of thousands of precious Nguyen Dynasty Woodblocks were inscribed on UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register in 2009, becoming Viet Nam’s first World Documentary Heritage. They are currently preserved under strict archival conditions at the National Archives Center No. IV in Da Lat (now located in Cam Ly Ward, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province).

Being nominated for “Asia’s Leading Cultural City Destination” at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2026 can be considered an encouraging sign for the potential development of Vietnam’s cultural and tourism sectors.

On the morning of June 10, the Department of Tourism announced that Hue has officially been nominated in the Asia’s Leading Culture City Destination 2026 category at the World Travel Awards (WTA) for the Asia and Oceania region.

Over three days of the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program (June 5 - 7), Chan May - Lang Co Commune welcomed 38,000 visitor arrivals who came to sightsee, relax, and experience the series of activities held as part of the program.

On the morning of June 6, as part of the series of activities under “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026”, a sailing performance on the Bay’s waters was held for the first time.

More than just a series of promotional activities showcasing one of the world’s most beautiful bays, the program “Lang Co – World Beautiful Bay 2026” reflects the local community’s aspiration to build a green, civilized, and environmentally friendly tourism destination, with local communities and indigenous values serving as the foundation for sustainable development.

As part of the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2026, the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program will be held in June with a series of special activities. This is not only an opportunity to promote and spread the value of Lang Co Bay, but also to create distinctive tourism products, thereby stimulating tourism demand.
