In 2026, Hue City Museum of History aims to conduct surveys, research and upgrade 2 dossiers for nomination as special national relics, and prepare 8 new dossiers to request recognition as city-level relics.

On the afternoon of December 23rd, the City People’s Committee held a ceremony to announce and present the titles of People’s Artisan and Meritorious Artisan, as well as the title of Hue Artisan in the field of handicrafts. That is the conclusion by experts in the process of preparing the dossier for recognition of the new rice welcoming festival of the Co Tu people in Nam Dong, Phu Loc, Hue as national intangible cultural heritage.

The culinary festival titled “Vietnamese Noodle Heritage - Van Cu Noodle Village” opened on the afternoon of February 18 at Van Cu Hamlet, Nam Thanh Village. This is one of the main activities to respond to the celebration of receiving the national intangible cultural heritage recognition for the “Traditional Craft - Van Cu Noodle-Making Craft”, which is scheduled to be held on February 19.

On the afternoon of January 7, the People’s Committee of Huong Vinh Ward, Phu Xuan District held a ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing Bao Vinh forging craft as a traditional craft, which was awarded by Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee (Hue City People’s Committee for now).

On the afternoon of November 23rd, a ceremony was held with great dignity at Thai Hoa Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel to inaugurate Thai Hoa Palace and receive the UNESCO Documentary Heritage Recognition Certificate for “The bas-reliefs on the Nine Dynastic Urns at the Imperial Palace of Hue”.

On October 31, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism said that it had sent a document to the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province regarding the preparation of a dossier to recognize Phuoc Tich ancient village (Phong Hoa Commune, Phong Dien District) as a special national relic.
