Tac Ka Coong Festival is a celebration held by the Co Tu ethnic people to offer thanks to the gods of mountains, forests, rivers and streams within the village, for bestowing upon their descendants a life of warmth, happiness, prosperity, bountiful harvests, and good health.

The sketches created by Artist Nguyen Van Nguyen successfully depict the heroic historical years of the resistance war fought by the people and soldiers of Binh Tri Thien against the US. These sketches accurately portrayed the lives of compatriots and soldiers during this time. Many of these works were composed during the war and were introduced to the public for the first time in an exhibition titled “Memory Land”.

“Vietnam’s national name is the invaluable spiritual and sacred asset of the Vietnamese people; it is the pride of every citizen of Vietnam. From the depths of our consciousness, I am proud to be Vietnamese," Duong Phuoc Thu, a researcher in Hue, shared on the occasion of the 220th anniversary of Vietnam’s national name.

The Central Coast Museum of Nature (henceforth the Museum) was established in 2009, and its specimen display space was officially open to the public in 2020. On the evening of April 29th, at Thuan An beach, Thuan An ward, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the opening ceremony of “Thuan An – Call of the sea” festival 2024. The event was attended by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Member of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People's Council; city leaders; departments, agencies, units, enterprises; as well as domestic and international tourists.

After the complete liberation of the South, the country was unified, Thua Thien Hue remained a locality bearing many scars of war; the lives of the people were extremely difficult; many buildings, architectures were desolate and in ruins. But it is also from here that the Ancient Capital is not alone on its journey of revival from desolation and gradually developing in a sustainable manner, with the goal of striving to become a centrally-governed city with its own unique strengths.

From after January until now, jellyfish have begun to appear. Depending on the tide, jellyfish are often washed ashore by waves. This is also the time when many people go to the beach to try their luck by collecting jellyfish.
