On the evening of November 29, the Department of Tourism coordinated with relevant units, to organize a welcome event for the first flight and its passengers traveling from Shenzhen (China) to Hue City by air. Attending the program was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

On the morning of October 17, on the journey to Vietnam, Ovation of the Seas Cruise Ship carrying over 4,000 passengers docked at Chan May Port.

On the morning of July 9th, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee and Phu Bai International Airport, held a special ceremony to welcome a milestone flight in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's tourism sector. The event also aims to respond to the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and honored the airline’s 350 millionth passenger.

On February 14th, the Gulfstream G650ER private jet, bearing the registration VN-A968, carrying several passengers, landed at Phu Bai International Airport. This aircraft is considered one of the most beautiful private jets in Southeast Asia as of now.

On the morning of January 14, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Changan Automobile Group officially announced the plan to build the Kim Long Truong An Vietnam passenger car manufacturing plant (5-7 seats).

​Passenger Bus Joint Stock Company, Hue Branch has introduced to the public the service of transporting tourists by open-top buses. This service takes foreign and domestic tourists to famous scenic spots in Hue city for experience and visit.

On December 10, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and related units to welcome a group of international cruise passengers on the Diamond Princess high-grade cruise to visit Hue ancient capital.

Bamboo Airways QH1201 flight Hanoi - Hue, on the night of July 6, was delayed by more than 23 minutes. The 159 passengers on this flight agreed to wait when they were informed that the plane was to carry a donated heart.

On the morning of June 17th, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) held a grand opening ceremony for the T2 Passenger Terminal at Phu Bai International Airport. This is a project to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises.

On the morning of April 28th, an A321 aircraft with flight number VN 1370 from Vietnam Airlines carried 168 passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue. This was the first flight to “inaugurate” Terminal T2 at Phu Bai International Airport.
