The visitors and Board of operators of the Diamond Princess cruise ship visited Hue Imperial Citadel (following this cruise’s journey back to the Central region of Vietnam after 3 years affected by the epidemic).

At the Noon Gate, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, and leaders of relevant agencies welcomed, greeted, and gave flowers to members of the visitor group.

The visitors in the group expressed their joy and excitement when visiting Hue ancient capital, and were warmly and thoughtfully welcomed by the tourism sector; they also found it very interesting to directly discover the heritages and culture of Hue.

Visitors on the high-grade cruise are due to visit Hue on December 10, 19 and 29, with an expected number of 300 - 400 visitors per day.

The Diamond Princess is one of the most luxurious cruise ships in the region, on a voyage around the waters of East Asia during the summer months, and to the waters of Southeast Asian in the winter. The cruise ship has an impressive size with a width of 37.5 meters and a length of 288 meters, which is owned by the Princess Cruises in the US, and built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki, Japan. With its 12 decks, the Diamond Princess is like a large-scale five-star hotel. Many visitors also compare the cruise ship to a city on the sea.
