On July 10, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, and Head of the city's National Assembly Delegation, visited and encouraged personnel carrying out the collection of biological samples for DNA analysis at the Hue City Martyrs' Cemetery (An Cuu Ward).

Along with nearly 76,5 million voters nationwide, close to one million voters in Hue City have just joyfully taken part in the Election Day on March 15th, 2026, achieving an outstanding result: 99,99% voter turnout in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term. On the morning of January 21, Hue Central Hospital announced that on January 6, 2026, the hospital marked a significant milestone in Vietnamese medicine. For the first time, surgeons successfully performed a simultaneous surgery to remove two giant polycystic kidneys and perform a kidney transplant. This success not only opens up new hope for patients with end-stage renal failure, but also confirms the ability to master intensive organ transplantation techniques by Vietnamese medical teams.
