Culinary culture not simply is about food but also contains stories about the vibrant life of indigenous people. In the vast Truong Son mountains, the dishes of Ta Oi, Pa Co, Co Tu ethnic groups are rich with the flavors of the forest from available natural ingredients, combined with age-old secrets, creating unique values found nowhere else.

On February 13, the Red Cross Society of Hue City, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of Phu Xuan District and Lock&Lock Vina Co., Ltd., organized a charitable event to send love and support, accompanying people to overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters.

Hue - Tien Phong cajeput oil, a high-quality product developed by Tien Phong one member State Limited Company (Tien Phong Company), has been successfully produced as part of a science and technology project commissioned by the provincial People's Committee. That was the theme of a talk hosted by Dr. Mai Hang, a natural nutritionist, at Silent Space (32 Tay Son, Hue City) on November 23rd. The event was part of the “Lunch and Learn - Learn, Have lunch, and Connect together” program.

Thua Thien Hue has preserved many craft villages and handed down many unique traditional crafts. With abundant cultural tourism resources and natural tourism assets, it can combine them with craft and traditional village tourism. Despite its abundant potential, river tourism in Hue remains underdeveloped, lagging behind its available natural resources. The lack of services, transport infrastructure, and collaboration in river tourism development have all posed significant barriers, preventing this sector from thriving.

On October 25th, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue issued updated warnings for areas across the province vulnerable to flash floods and landslides, particularly in mountainous regions, along transportation routes, and erosion in river and coastal areas.

Recently, luxury travelers and the ultra-rich have shown increased interest in Vietnam as a travel destination; and, Thua Thien Hue is among the locations catching their attention. Beyond its natural beauty, high-quality services are a top priority to attract these affluent tourists.
