On October 16, the National Data Association coordinated with Hue City People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch the Global Data Expert Network (Vietnam Data Expert Network - VDEN). The event marks a new milestone in the work of bringing together and connecting Vietnamese intellectuals worldwide to join hands to promote the development of data economy and national digital transformation.

After nearly two-thirds of the journey of the National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025, Hue’s tourism industry has recorded many positive results. In mid-July, Ngoc Khanh Hat boi and Tuong co Troupe (hat boi and tuong co are types of Vietnamese classical opera) and others from the South gave two performances at Thanh Binh Tu Duong, also known as Thanh Binh Tu. The ancestral house, which is located in Alley 281 on Chi Lang Street, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, is dedicated to founding fathers of tuong. This house of great historical and cultural value has been recognized as National Heritage Site.

In response to the series of activities within the framework of the Autumn Festival themed “Hue in Autumn” of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Phu Xuan Ward, is preparing a variety of exciting programs for locals and visitors. Among them, the most anticipated highlight is the Unicorn-Lion-Dragon Dance Festival, Hue Unicorn dance performances, and the Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade through the streets in 2025.

On October 1st, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, held an online ceremony in response to the 2025 National Innovation Day under the theme “Innovation for All - Driving National Development”.

On the afternoon of September 30, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to announce the implementation of electronic medical records. This was a significant event, marking a new milestone in the digital transformation of healthcare, aiming towards a paperless smart hospital model. It was also part of the activities to celebrate the 17th Congress of Hue City Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term and the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The establishment and development of Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations - abbreviated as the “Union” (originating from Thua Thien National Salvation Cultural Association in 1945), marks an important milestone in Hue’s cultural history. For 80 years, the Union has not only organized and gathered creative forces but has also served as a “pivot” connecting heritage with innovation, tradition with modernity, and artists with the public.
