Within the framework of cooperation between Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Operation International (OI), the United States, and Design Capital Asia (DCA), doctors would perform surgeries for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate from September 11 to 15.

On August 25, at Hue Central Hospital, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health presented the Commemorative medal “For People’s Health” to Prof. Hiroyuki Shichino – Former Heald of Pediatrics Department, National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Japan.

After 3 working days, on July 6th, the Quality Assurance Council of the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN) finished its appraisal of the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Training Program of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

From June 19 to 23, the Orthonations organization (the US) with 10 members led by Professor Kenneth Montgomery has had a working session at Hue Central Hospital.

As a regular blood donor, I was also startled when I heard that Truong Thi Huyen Trang had 40 blood donations in just 6 years of studying at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. The 24-year-old female student is always happy when someone mentions blood donation by answering: “As long as I am healthy, I will still donate blood".

This is the issue raised at the 2023 Students’ Scientific Research Conference, which took place at the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University on the afternoon of May 14. The conference was attended by experts from three member universities of Hue University, including University of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and University of Education, along with nearly 400 students.

On April 27, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the University Hospital held a meeting to welcome a delegation of experts from TranTien Foundation (USA).
