Three Vietnamese dishes, namely beef stew (bo kho), Hue beef noodle soup, or Hue breakfast noodle soup (bun bo Hue), and broken rice with grilled pork (com tam suon), have been included in the list of “Top 100 breakfasts in the world” by the international food magazine Taste Atlas.

On the afternoon of June 6th , over 150 sketch works depicting the landscapes of Phu Loc were exhibited and introduced to the public at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (part of Hue Fine Arts Museum, 17 Le Loi, Hue City).

In celebration of Hue Festival 2024, on June 8th, Hue artists and Hue lovers will gather at Kim Long Orchard to display paintings under the theme "A Stroll Through the Hue Garden." This stroll will be adorned with 39 paintings by 7 artists, depicting steps through multicolored gardens, with stories that resonate with the hues of the sun and wind in the green garden, and the intimate conversations of leaves and flowers in the Hue gardens, both tranquil and lively...

On June 4th, General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism signed a decision to recognize La Vela Hotel in Hue as a 5-star hotel, valid for 5 years from the date of signing.

The artifacts selected for identification are representative items typical of the Nguyen Dynasty's royalty and officials, such as the golden throne, palanquins, ceremonial shoes (things used in daily life and rituals), gold and jade branches (interior decorations), and the Xam Huong set (a recreational activity). This initiative marks the beginning of applying technology to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values preserved in Thua Thien Hue.

On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

Many competitions organized by Hue University have attracted thousands of contestants from both domestic and international backgrounds, contributing to the development of tourism.

The collection of essays and notes "Truoc nha co cay hoang mai: Nhung ghi chep ve Hue - xu so phong reu kieu sa" after more than 8 years appearing in the literary world has now been reprinted, with additions and revisions. More notably, in this reprint, there is also an English edition “Yellow Apricot tree in the front yard: Fascinating stories about Hue - an ancient, poetic and glamorous land”.

On the night of May 6th, 2024, the three romances composed by Le Tu Minh, a Hue-native musician, were played at the Auditorium of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. That was indeed a historic moment because it was the first time Vietnamese music had been played on stage at the oldest and most prestigious symphony house of Russia.

On the evening of May 31, Hue City's Youth Union coordinated with Hue Children's House to organize the opening ceremony of summer activities and the launching ceremony of the Month of action for children, as well as awarding prizes for a writing contest themed “Pens of the young ages”, and an English video clip contest themed “I am a tour guide” in 2024.
