The 20th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2026) officially opened on the morning of August 27th. Hue is taking part in the event with a joint stall shared by Quang Tri, Hue and Danang.

On the morning of August 21st, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, opened the 14th Annual Hue Scientific Conference on Cancer Prevention and Control. By hosting the Hue Heritage and International Music Festival 2026 - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026, which is scheduled from August 30 to September 1, alongside the National Day Holiday on September 2, Hue City is expected to witness a surge in tourist arrivals. Drawing from the experience of the last April 30 - May 1 holiday, the local tourism sector is developing plans to enhance its reception capacity and service quality.

From August 19 to 21, Hue Central Hospital hosted the 2nd International Thalassemia Conference, gathering 25 international delegates from 12 countries along with over 200 domestic doctors and experts.

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital announced on August 17th that, as part of its international cooperation activities, the university had partnered with the US-based Operation International (OI) and DCA to provide free screening and surgery for patients with cleft lip and palate.

The 12th International Day of Yoga and the 2nd Hue City Open Yoga Championship 2026 officially opened on July 26th as part of the 4th Hue Sports Festival 2026. The events were jointly organized by Linh Kha Yoga Club and the Embassy of India in Hanoi.

On the afternoon of July 23rd, Hue Festival Organizing Committee held a press conference to announce Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 - International Heritage and Music Festival. The event marks the first time Hue introduces a festival designed to develop into an annual international cultural and music festival IP, contributing to the growth of the cultural industries and promoting the image of the Ancient Capital.
