As part of the plan to stimulate tourism and service demand, Hue City is completing its infrastructure and implementing many solutions to develop the night-time economy to attract visitors.

On the afternoon of July 14, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh chaired the working session with the delegation of Ritsumeikan University from Japan on the implementation of the Sofix pilot project and the plan to construct the Sofix Laboratory Center in Thua Thien Hue.

The “Dancing - Ao dai by the Huong River” program took place at the park area of Nha Ken, next to Truong Tien Bridge (Le Loi Street, Hue City) on the afternoon of July 12, officially ended the Hue Community Ao dai Week 2023 organized by the Department of Culture and Sports.

According to the leader of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the project of restoration and embellishment of Kien Trung Palace in the area of the Forbidden City of Hue Imperial Citadel, started in February 2019, is entering the finishing stage of decoration; and expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

After two archaeological excavations of the National Relic of Mount Ban (An Tay Ward, Hue City), experts have discovered a number of vestiges and relics that contribute to confirming that this place is where Nguyen Hue set up Nam Giao Esplanade to sacrifice to “heaven and earth” before ascending the throne. Also, according to the latest archaeological information, experts recommend turning this relic into a special national relic.

The memory of Ao dai in me is simply the image of my mother wearing an Ao dai, in a rush carrying a basket in one hand and hastily putting on a gray Ao dai with the other, getting ready to go to the market.
