The statue of the late musician Trinh Cong Son presented to the People’s Committee of Hue City by a businessman in Ho Chi Minh City has now been brought to the headquarters of Hue Green Park Center.

On the afternoon of October 20th, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in coordination with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union, held a ceremony to award “Support to School” scholarships to 72 new students currently facing challenging life circumstances in the province.

On October 20, the first large-scale digital art experience space in Vietnam, named "Sốnglab", was officially launched to serve residents and visitors at the Sốngplatform building (Hue City).

Since the opening of Terminal 2 at Phu Bai International Airport in April 2023, Thua Thien Hue has been able to operate international routes, though primarily in the form of charter flights. Developing these into regular commercial flights with stable frequency requires time and appropriate solutions.

These are 6 of 121 Vietnamese culinary dishes that have just been honored by the Vietnam Cuisine Culture Association (VCCA) as typical national dishes in phase I of a project titled "Building and Developing Vietnamese Culinary Culture into a National Brand Name”. All of these 6 dishes, including: Hue beef noodle soup, glutinous rice dumplings stuffed with roasted pork in sweet soup, mussel rice, banh loc (glutinous rice dumplings), vegetarian fig salad, and lotus-leaf-wrapped steamed rice; all are close to the gardens and paddy fields of the land.

Ms. Julie Lardon, a journalist and also a writer, in collaboration with Hue French Institute and Kim Dong Publishing House, organized the workshop themed “Quel Avenir Pour Nous?” (What future is for us?) in Hue.

“Digital transformation, new technologies to support preservation and festivals” was the theme of the Conference on Connecting Reality and Digital in Thua Thien Hue Province. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Association for Information Processing, and Hue Center for Information and Technology (HueCIT) on October 12th. This conference was one of the practical initiatives in celebration of National Digital Transformation Day.

A Roang is a border commune of A Luoi district, which is about 90km away from Hue city center. People living here are mainly the Ta Oi people. However, it is now an attractive destination for visitors who love the rustic beauty of people and villages in wild mountains and forests, or immersing themselves in waterfalls and lakes in the middle of mountains and forests.

"Cultural heritage of ethnic minority groups in A Luoi District" is the theme of an exhibition, which is organized by Thua Thien Hue History Museum in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Information of A Luoi District. The exhibition was opened on the morning of October 10 at the Center for cultural activities of ethnic communities of A Luoi District.
