The KIMLONG X9 minibus is first launched in Hue

HNN.VN - On the morning of October 19, at the Chan May - Lang Co economic zone, the Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to launch the KIMLONG X9 minibus.

Attending the ceremony was the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong.

At the ceremony, various versions of KIMLONG X9 minibus were introduced by KIM LONG MOTOR Hue Joint Stock Company. In which, the standard version (16 seats) costs 739 million VND; it is the optimal solution, suitable for passenger transport, for student and officers picking up and dropping off, for short fixed-route passenger transport, and tourism services.

The KIMLONG X9 is developed on a Full Monocoque chassis (integrated body and chassis), it is optimized to suit infrastructure and operational conditions in Vietnam, helping to reduce vehicle weight, raise load capacity and enhance safety, etc.

Additionally, the vehicle model also includes Limousine versions (10 and 12 seats), which are equipped with high-end interior and entertainment utilities to meet diverse customer needs.

Mr. Ly Quoc Viet, Deputy General Director of KIM LONG MOTOR Joint Stock Company shared: “The KIM LONG MOTOR Hue Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Zone aims to become a leading center in the region for automobile and auto parts production, with a goal of achieving over 90% localization by Quarter 2, 2026. The launch of the KIMLONG X9 minibus reaffirms KIM LONG MOTOR’s strong commitment to becoming a market leader in both quality and quantity for diesel vehicles, EV buses, and EV trucks (heavy, medium, light), focusing on exports to international markets”.

As part of the program, KIM LONG MOTOR also held a ceremony for the delivery of the KIMLONG X9 minibus.

According to signed contracts, by December 2024, KIM LONG MOTOR will supply 500 minibuses to strategic partners: Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines, and FUTA Transport Joint Stock Company - Ha Son. During the ceremony, the first 100 KIMLONG X9 minibuses were handed over and ready to be put into operation to meet passenger transport demands during the peak period at the end of the year.

It is known that KIM LONG MOTOR Hue Joint Stock Company is the investor of the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Zone in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone. The company operates in the fields of automobile manufacturing, assembly, and business; production of auto parts; and doing industrial park infrastructure development business.

The KIM LONG MOTOR HUE Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Zone consists of multiple factories, including those for manufacturing and assembling buses, minibuses, various types of trucks, cars, producing engines, axles, and gearboxes, as well as complex of factories producing supporting technology factories for the automotive industry, semiconductor technology, and bonded warehouse systems, … covering an area of over 600 hectares which is located in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone.
