On the morning of June 7, the Hue City Department of Health in coordination with Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City held a scholarship awarding ceremony for typical outstanding students who have overcome difficulties in 2025.

Overcoming fierce competition, many healthcare professionals from Hue City have earned scholarships for being trained abroad. After a journey of dedication and effort, they not only bring back advanced knowledge to innovate and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, but also spread a spirit of continuous learning and self-improvement.

On April 21, Hue Dental Hospital, in collaboration with Operation Smile, organized a humanitarian medical examination and treatment team integrated into School Dental Health program in Huong Tra Town and Phu Vang District.

On February 22, Hue Dental Hospital (under the Department of Health) collaborated with Resurge International, Stanford University (USA), and the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery to conduct screenings for patients from Hanoi, Long An, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and other locations. This program is part of the breast reconstruction surgery week for post-cancer patients.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long recently signed a decision approving the plan to implement the healthcare network development strategy for the 2021- 2030 period, prioritizing the development of six hospitals to meet international standards, including Hue Central Hospital (HCH). The International Dermatology Conference, held from November 21 to 23, is jointly organized by the Central Dermatology Hospital, the Department of Health, and the Provincial Dermatology Hospital. The event attracts numerous domestic and international experts with hundreds of presentations being shared.
