On August 19 and September 2, Vietnamese citizens will be granted free admission to heritage sites managed by Hue Monuments Conservation Center. The initiative offers an opportunity for visitors to explore Hue’s heritage during the public holidays, while gaining deeper understanding of the historical and cultural values of the Ancient Capital.

The principal of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted announced that Hue City has three 12th-grade students exempted from the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination and granted priority direct admission to universities and colleges. All three students are from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

Domestic visitors will be granted free admission to sites within the Complex of Hue Monuments on March 26th.

Mossy temples, royal mausoleums, ancient pagodas and the beautiful scenery granted to the former capital city all together form an “urban poem.” And that beauty of Hue is even more gorgeous through eyes of talented painters.

On the morning of November 12th, Hue University of Sciences, Hue University held a program to present scholarships and support gifts to students in difficult circumstances who suffered heavy losses during the floods at the end of October and early November.

On July 30th, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports announced that Hue City People’s Committee has issued an official document approving the continuing of archaeological excavation of the remaining area approximately 200 square meters at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site (Kim Tra Ward, Hue City). The goal is to gain a comprehensive and complete understanding of the Lieu Coc temple-tower complex.

On the morning of August 31st, at Duyet Thi Duong Royal Theater (Hue Imperial Citadel), the “Rencontres du Vietnam” (Meeting Vietnam) organization granted Vallet scholarships to students with high academic achievements in Thua Thien Hue Province. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Many projects worth billions, tens of billions have been granted investment registration certificates, investment approval decisions, affirming the position of Thua Thien Hue. Not to mention the "turning the situation around" in creating high values, but those projects are evidence that the province has made breakthroughs in attracting investment.
