For Nguyen Hung, a teacher and artist, the folk culture of the land of Hue ancient capital has forged in him a unified and unique artistic language. With his quiet passion for creation, he has guided many generations of students to achieve brilliant success through 35 years as an art teacher in public schools and art training classes.

On the morning of November 1, on the occasion of 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Hue University (1994 - 2024), Hue University held a meeting of leaders from various generations.

Artist Dang Thi Thu An is one of the prominent faces among the promising generation of 1980s artists from Hue. With works deeply characterized by traditional culture, especially depicting women figures and áo dài, she has contributed to creating a unique impression in contemporary Vietnamese painting.

Thua Thien Hue Sports boasts excellent generations of athletes, contributing to the honor of their homeland. Many of them are especially “Gold” girls.

On the morning of October 4, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Department of Planning and Investment and the Provincial Business Association held a conference titled “Building and developing a new generation of entrepreneurs”.

An Lang (An Mausoleum), the shared mausoleum of three regal generations of the Nguyen Dynasty, including Emperor Duc Duc (the father), Emperor Thanh Thai (the son), and Emperor Duy Tan (the grandson), is located on Duy Tan Street, An Cuu Ward, Hue City.

“A steadfast anchorage” is the aspirations and hopes of generations of fishermen venturing out to sea and the local authorities of Thua Thien Hue province in their efforts to meet the evolving needs of the fishing community.

Though belonging to different generations and living in different places, with their shared passion for painting, they meet in Hue for an exhibition. To them, Hue is land of memories of not only their work but also their friendship and love among themselves.

Nha Nhac or Hue royal court music emerged during the early years of the Ly Dynasty (from 1010 to 1225), but it was not until the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 - 1945) that this type of music truly flourished and became a heritage of the nation and humanity. Through many ups and downs, the Hue royal court music has been carefully preserved and empowered through generations, acting as a strong connection of the past with the present and the future.

''We should play for people to know what Hue is” is what Mr. Ho Van Nghi previously told us when he was alive. He was the one who founded Thai Nghi Duong Unicorn Dancing Troupe in 1937. That spirit has been kept and promoted by generations of Thai Nghi Duong until now.
