On the morning of October 5th, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, held its opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Vietnam is preparing to enter the peak season for international tourists. Based on the strong growth rate of the tourism industry in the early months of 2024, the provincial tourism sector is implementing many solutions to prepare for the anticipated influx of foreign visitors.

Investment promotion plays an extremely important role, contributing to attracting investment capital; forming industrial and export processing zones to serve the manufacturing of exports. With a favorable geographical location, open investment attraction policies, gradually refined mechanisms and policies for socio-economic development, etc., Thua Thien Hue has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

From May to early September each year is considered the low season for international tourists. However, Vietnam's tourism industry in general and Thua Thien Hue in particular are implementing various strategies to attract foreign tourists, especially from target markets.

On July 14, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor's degrees and master's degrees to the students of the 2024 academic year.

On the morning of March 21st, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had courtesy meeting with a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Department of Nara prefecture – Japan, headed by Mr. Hitomi Tatsuya, Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of Nara prefecture.

On March 20, the Authority of Foreign Information Service, under the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), officially announced the "Happy Vietnam" contest in 2024. The launching ceremony of the contest was connected from the bridge point of the MIC to bridge points of the Departments of Information and Communications in 63 provinces and cities across the country.

On the morning of March 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting and awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Thua Thien Hue Province" to Ms. Andrea Teufel, Chief Representative of the German Association for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage; and Ms. Kazuyo Watanabe, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Children’s Care League.

After the process of researching and developing products, Thua Thien Hue will systematically exploit healthcare tourism products to attract domestic and foreign tourists.

​Passenger Bus Joint Stock Company, Hue Branch has introduced to the public the service of transporting tourists by open-top buses. This service takes foreign and domestic tourists to famous scenic spots in Hue city for experience and visit.
