On the morning of January 7th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online meeting to urge the rapid implementation of the “Quang Trung Campaign” to rebuild and repair houses for households whose homes were collapsed, destroyed, swept away, or severely damaged by recent storms and floods. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, along with leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities.

In response to the appeal from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has donated 2 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the aftermath of natural disasters, typhoons and floods in 2025.

Successive floods have inflicted severe damage on irrigation infrastructure while directly disrupting the livelihoods of thousands of households. What are the most effective ways to respond? On December 6th, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) provided financial support to help residents of Hue City recover from the damage caused by the recent floods. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, received and worked with the delegation.

On December 2 and 3, a working delegation from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, visited and presented financial support to South Central provinces to overcome damage after typhoons and floods.
