Hue is famous for its delicious cuisine, and the local authorities are actively promoting the brand name “Hue - The Culinary Capital”. However, the city has yet true food tours (Food Tour) in a proper and structured manner.

On the morning of March 10 (the 11th day of the second lunar month of the Year of the Snake), Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the Xa Tac Worship Ceremony at the Xa Tac Esplanade (Thuan Hoa Ward, Phu Xuan District, Hue City) to pray for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, bountiful harvests, and prosperous lives for the people.

To celebrate the 94th anniversary of founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Hue City, and many other significant events of the homeland, the People's Committees of Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa districts have issued plan No. 959 to organize the first traditional boat race in 2025.

Developing medical tourism and wellness tourism is an inevitable trend and a strategic direction for Hue City, considering its comparative advantages both locally and within the Southeast Asian region. Located about 20km west of Hue Imperial City, Emperor Gia Long's Mausoleum (or Thien Tho Mausoleum) is a relic of the Complex of Hue Monuments, which has been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

On the afternoon of March 3, the Women’s Union in collaboration with the Phu Xuan District Labor Federation of Hue City held the Cultural and Sports Festival. The program attracted over 300 female cadres, union’s members, officers, and workers.

On March 2nd, the University of Economics, Hue University, in collaboration with Youth Employment Service Center of Hue City, organized the experiential program “A day as a HUE University student”.

On the afternoon of February 28, the “Registration day for Miss Vietnam 2024” took place at Hue University, the beauty pageant is hosted by Hue City.

The area for this year's tournament is Trinh Cong Son Park, from the section of the Perfume River on the Hen dune stretching to the Dong Ba River area.
