On September 30, a working delegation from Hue City People's Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, along with Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, inspected the erosion situation along the Bo River, the O Lau River, and the restoration efforts following the aftermath of Typhoon No. 10 in several localities.

At the end of August 2025, Hue Central Hospital organized the first “Proton Therapy in Vietnam” workshop. Aiming to create a clean, friendly tourism environment for the health of the community, efforts to prevent and control the harmful effects of tobacco at accommodation facilities, hotels, and resorts in Hue City have recently been strengthened and effectively implemented. Many hotels not only strictly comply with legal regulations but have also creatively developed smoke-free models in alignment with green and sustainable tourism development.

On the afternoon of July 21, Hue Central Hospital held a special discharge ceremony for four pediatric patients who had successfully undergone bone marrow transplants. Among them, three children with Thalassemia received allogeneic transplants, and one underwent the hospital’s 50th autologous transplant. This event not only marks a major advancement in medical expertise but also serves as vivid evidence of the tireless efforts of doctors and medical staff to provide better survival chances and quality of life for children with serious illnesses.

Alongside efforts to expose the foundations of the South and North towers and the southern and northern perimeter walls, the second phase of the archaeological excavation at the Lieu Coc Twin Towers has yielded over 9.300 samples and artifact fragments. These consist mainly of architectural materials, decorative elements, stele fragments, ceramics, stoneware, terracotta objects, and bronze fragments.

In addition to other potential markets, the tourism sector of the ancient capital is intensifying efforts in promotion, branding, and positioning Hue in European countries. Through a variety of unique programs and activities, Hue’s tourism industry hopes to see strong growth in visitor numbers from this key market in the near future.
