On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, aiming to promote cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan in the Central region, the HUE MATSURI 2023 event took place, with the theme "Manga Palace", within two days from September 9 to 10, in the square in front of the Quoc Tu Giam relic in Hue Imperial City.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2/9/1945 - 2/9/2023), on the morning of September 2nd, on the Huong River, in front of the gate of Hai Ba Trung High School (Hue City), the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 34th Provincial Traditional Boat Racing Competition in Thua Thien Hue Province.

Every day at around 4:30 p.m., as long as it doesn't rain, at Thuong Bac Park, Da Vien Park, or at the foot of Truong Tien Bridge, we can easily catch up with a group of about 20 young men and women, who wear loose sportswear, suede flats, and hold skateboards. They often practice and perform attractive sliding movements.

The “Photo exhibition of the images of Ao dai featured on postage stamps” will take place from August 27 to September 2 at Kodo Café (No. 36 – 38 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen, Huong Long Ward, Hue City) on the occasion of Vietnam Stamp Day (August 27).

Along with Bach Ho Bridge, which is a railroad bridge, and Thao Long Bridge, with the architectural structure of a bridge at the top and a dam below to prevent salinity at the bottom, there is a total of seven bridges over the Huong River, namely Truong Tien Bridge, Phu Xuan Bridge, Da Vien Bridge, Tuan Bridge, and Dinh Market Bridge.
