My childhood was marked with the image of my mother stroking her ao dai flat before going out (Ao dai is traditional costume for women (and men) in Vietnam.) At that time, cloth produced in the country was cheap; my mother had many ao dai of different colors tailored. She wore ao dai everywhere she went on every occasion.

At the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Day event held in 2024 under the theme “20 years of thrilling journey” and accompanied by the program message “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City” (from April 4th to 7th), the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province participated in various promotional and marketing activities.

On the morning of April 4th, speaker Nguyen Trung Dan, Associate Professor at the University of Arizona, USA, held a talk show, sharing insights with lecturers, students, and high school students of the University of Sciences, Hue University on the topic of “Semiconductor Chips - The core of the technological era.”

Two new publications, which are the volume 1 and the volume 2 of the book themed “Hue, the Magical Imperial City” under the project on "Establishing and developing Hue Bookcase" in 2024, are expected to be released on the occasion of the 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2024. The event is organized by Thua Thien Hue General Library.

Since embarking on the journey with technology to preserve fresh flowers into everlasting blooms, the love for flowers of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lan (from Phong Thu, Phong Dien) has flourished even more. Day and night, with relentless dedication to exploration and research, this young lady has ingeniously created beautiful, unique everlasting flower products, from flower fields.

“Coi mai vang Tinh Tam” (roughly translated as “Tranquillity from the Root of Yellow Apricot”) is the title of an exhibition by Le Van Loi, a Buddhism retired scholar, displayed at the Intercultural Meeting Point (Bach Dang Street, Hue City) from March 28th to April 3rd.

On the morning of March 26th, Vietnam Railways Corporation, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, and Da Nang City People's Committee jointly organized the inauguration of a tourism train service between Hue and Da Nang, named “Connecting Central Heritages.”

Ms. Dong Bich Du, Consul General of China in Da Nang congratulated Thua Thien Hue's achievements and socio-economic developments.

Anyone who has ever spent an entire misty morning or a cool sunset walking along the two banks of the Huong River will feel the magical vitality of Hue today... On the afternoon of March 25, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the South Korean Consulate General in Da Nang, led by Mr. Kang Boo Sung.
