There have been five non-public museums provincewide since the first private museum was founded in April 2013, contributing to Hue City a number of attractive cultural destinations.

Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association on May 31 launched a painting contest with the theme "Vietnamese cultural heritages through paintings" in Hue City.

Within the framework of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, the Japanese ceramic exhibition “Yakishime - Shape of the Earth” offers visitors a unique perspective on the craft of the land of Fusang. The exhibition is held by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam in collaboration with Hue Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition is opened from April 27th to May 14th at the Diem Phung Thi Art Center.
