As part of activities promoting the Vietnam - Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, on September 5, in Hue, the Vietnam - Japan Center for Cultural and Educational Cooperation Promotion (VJCE) coordinated with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka to organize the Vietnam - Japan Education Exchange and Cooperation Program 2026.

By hosting the International Heritage and Music Festival - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026, together with a wide range of activities, events, and festivals, Hue attracted large crowds of visitors for sightseeing and cultural experiences during the National Day Holiday.

As the five-day National Day holiday approaches, featuring a vibrant lineup of cultural, artistic, sports, and experiential activities, Hue is expected to welcome over 500,000 tourist arrivals.

As Da Nang rises to become a premier tourism destination with increasingly diverse and distinctive experiences, cultural events, festivals and community activities play an important role in creating the city’s unique appeal. After nearly a decade of sustained cooperation with Kanto International Senior High School in Tokyo, Japan, Hai Ba Trung High School in Hue City has developed a meaningful model of international exchange. Through classroom lessons, experiential activities, charity programmes and homestays in Japan, students from both countries have not only deepened their understanding of each other’s cultures but also broadened their intercultural awareness, strengthened their appreciation of cultural identity and fostered friendship between Vietnam and Japan.

After 3 days, Hue Lotus Festival 2026 drew approximately 10,000 tourists coming to visit and experience cultural activities.

Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, featuring a series of cultural, artistic, and community activities to honor the values of Vietnam’s traditional Ao-dai and reaffirm the brand of “Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai”, will take place from July 3 to 10.

The village is gradually emerging as a favorite destination for travelers seeking community-based tourism activities in Khe Tre highland area.

From the evening of May 29 to May 31, 2026, the first “Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of mountainous ethnic groups” is being held in the communes, namely A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, and A Luoi 3.

On the morning of May 29, the Department of Tourism announced that Hue Lotus Festival 2026 will take place from June 19 to 21 under the theme “Ngu lien thuc thuy” (Royal Lotus Awakens the Water). Featuring a wide range of cultural, artistic, and culinary activities as part of Hue Festival 2026, the event is expected to become a vibrant summer attraction for both residents and visitors.
